Luna’s overtime graph is a powerful tool that lets you visualize your data at any given time. Utilizing the graph can help you detect trends and correlations within your activity that you didn't see before.

Utilizing the Overtime Graph

The overtime graph is visible above the grid in the Campaign Manager.

By default, the graph will display all data across all entities that appear on this level.

Note: The graph is unavailable for overall values when using numeric filters. However, you can still select specific entities to view them while filtered.

To view a single entity:

  1. Select the entity

  2. Choose View on Graph from the Actions Bar

To view in full screen:

You can open the graph in full screen by tapping the button at the top-right of the graph.

To hide the graph:

You can hide the graph using the button above the expand option.

To select metrics:

Choose up to 5 metrics from the metrics drop-down menu. Pin them to save the metrics as the default state for this level.

To add a missing metric to the drop-down menu:

The metrics on the drop-down list are the ones added to your table view. To view metrics that do not appear in the drop-down list, add them to your view first.

To change graph settings:

Click on the button to the left of the expand option:

Graph events

You can add your own events to the graph to mark a significant occurrence, such as an app launch, reminder, vacation, or changes within your campaigns.

To add an event:

  1. Hover over the graph

  2. Click Add Event

  3. Give your event a name and a description

Note: Events for selected entities will be shown on the same level they were created on.

Compare

The overtime graph lets you compare entities to see how each of them performs against a certain KPI. Each line on the graph represents a different entity rather than different metrics.

To compare entities:

  1. Select your desired entities

  2. Select Compare on Graph from the Actions Bar

To revert the graph from compare mode, simply close the Actions Bar.

Tip: You can also compare Groups of entities.

Seniority comparison

When comparing creatives in different lifecycle stages, use the seniority comparison function to view their progress over time. This will create a clean comparison based on the number of days those creatives have been active. The comparison starts on day 0, the first day the creative started spending.

To compare creatives according to seniority:

  1. Toggle the Seniority option

  2. Select the timeframe (7, 14, 30, or 60 days) you would like to analyze.

Note: that this feature is supported on the Creatives level and uses daily parsing only.
