Providing Facebook Business Manager Permissions

Background

For Luna to perform actions on a client's account, certain permissions must be in place. The instructions below outlines the steps required to provide Luna with the required permissions.

Step 1: Providing Luna FB Business Manager Permissions

  1. Click On Users > Partners > Add > Give a partner access to your assets.

2. Enter Luna Partner Business ID (654932351254628) and click Next.

   3. On the next page, enable access to the following assets.

  • Pages - Content + Ads

  • Ad Accounts - Manage campaigns

  • Apps - View Insights (Optional)

  • Instagram Accounts (Optional)

Step 2: Verify General Business Manager Settings

Authorize Ad Account IDs for your app

This step is important when connecting with a 3rd party such as Luna.

Under "apps", choose the relevant app > Connected Assets > Add Assets > choose the relevant Ad Accounts > Add.

Make Sure the App Platform is Defined.

Step 3: Verify Facebook App is Live

This stage is relevant for new apps.

Log in to Meta for Developers.

Click My Apps > click the name of the relevant app > on the top check that App Mode is Live.
